Some time ago we spoke about why Tony Stark/ Iron doesnt have the moral stance to support the superhero registration bill in Captain America: Civil War. No this week we continue, highlighting some of Stark Misdeeds in the Civil War comic books. There is only one thing everybody should know: Captain America is right. No matter what laws pass, no matter who your favorite character is, Captain America is COMPLETELY right. Tony Stark/ Iron Man is NOTHING more than a complete retard throughout the entire civil war.
1) Tony Stark interrupted peace talks with Wakanda using Sentinels he built to force Storm the newlywed queen of Wakanda to register, who on technicality was an American citizen because her father was born and raised in America, even though as a queen of a foreign nation she is a DIPLOMAT and was immune to the law. Tony Stark even laid the trap in the WHITE HOUSE 2) Tony Stark promised to leave the X-Men alone so long as they remained on Xavier Institute property... surrounded by Sentinels... forced to fight their own private civil war. 3) Tony Stark attempted to commandeer the X-Men into registering (a people who had been fighting against registration legislation for decades) by offering to sleep with Emma Frost. 4) Tony Stark, along with Mr. Fantastic and Hank Pym CLONED THOR and turned the clone into a cyborg because they needed firepower. This cyborg-god-clone ended up murdering Bill Foster/Goliath 5) Tony Stark sent full SHIELD next-gen military geared soldiers into a residential neighborhood just to Arrest Luke Cage/Power Man the MOMENT the Act went into effect.
6) Tony Stark not only accepted Deadpool's registry, and didn't arrest him despite the fact that he was a wanted mercenary, he sent Deadpool into Hell's Kitchen to lure our Daredevil and get him arrested because he kept protecting his neighborhood without registering.
7) Tony Stark didn't even fully trust players on his team, and sabotaged Spider-Man's suit and sent two murderous sociopaths to go and catch him. 8) Tony Stark enlisted super-villains on his team; by Implanting explosives at the base of their heads. 9) Tony Stark approved of and helped build a super-max prison in an alternate dimension just so he could enforce the terms of the law, and store heroes who didn't register. 10) Tony Stark excused his actions as "a mathematical inevitability" 11) Even after the war between him and Cap, he began turning the government-controlled super-heroes into fascist enforcers to such a success, that when the Skrulls invade, he is made to look like a bad guy and NORMAN OSBORNE takes his job at SHIELD. Tony Stark basically prepped gn@tcee Germany for Adolf Hitler. 13) The only way Marvel could get people to start seeing Iron Man as a hero again, was to have his brain short-out, and reboot it up to everything JUST BEFORE the Civil War. Make no mistake the Civil War concept asks which heroes would become villains under the given circumstances. Also, if you haven't read the "Civil War" storyline, even if you are just a casual viewer of the films & haven't read any comics, it is available as a single volume collecting the whole series, and it's well worth checking out! Tony Stark has always been self-centered and arrogant. He sees nothing wrong with other people being forced to do something just as long as he doesn't have to follow the rules, or at least has leeway to bend the rules as he sees fit. He absolutely hates being called out when he screws up, and tends to project his guilt onto everyone else. It's a textbook personality trait of severe narcissism.

He's clearly seen the error of his ways after creating Ultron. After one of his creations was almost the instigator of the apocalypse, he realizes that his belief that peacekeeping is something he should be in charge of on his own actually does more harm than good. Supporting the Accords will still likely be shown to be the wrong choice, but one can definitely understand how he would come to support them after Age of Ultron.
